Live Webcams Across Alaska

Watch live streaming webcams from across the Last Frontier. Alaska's webcam network spans from the Alyeska Resort ski slopes in Girdwood to the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, from downtown Anchorage to remote FAA weather stations along the Alaska Range. Monitor road conditions on the Seward Highway, check snow depth at Alyeska before heading to the slopes, or watch for northern lights activity from Fairbanks-area cameras. Our Alaska collection includes resort webcams, glacier views, northern lights cameras and volcano monitoring feeds from the Alaska Volcano Observatory. For Seward Highway and other road conditions, and the FAA airport weather cams, see Alaska road & weather cams. Every camera streams live with local weather data, wind conditions, and forecasts.

Aurora, Glaciers & Wildlife in Alaska

Northern lights season in Alaska runs from September through March, with peak aurora activity during the equinox months. Fairbanks sits directly under the auroral oval, making it one of the best places on Earth to view the northern lights. Our Fairbanks-area cameras capture aurora displays on clear nights when geomagnetic activity is elevated. Check the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center for real-time aurora forecasts.

Alyeska Resort in Girdwood is Alaska's premier ski destination, with over 1,600 acres of skiable terrain and views of Turnagain Arm. Our network of Alyeska webcams covers the base area, glacier bowl, north face, and summit — giving skiers and snowboarders real-time visibility into snow conditions, weather, and lift operations. The resort typically operates from November through April.

Alaska's glacier cams provide views of retreating ice fields that have been sculpted over thousands of years. The Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau is one of the most accessible glaciers in the world, visible from a Forest Service visitor center just 12 miles from downtown. Alaska is also home to active volcanoes monitored by the Alaska Volcano Observatory, with webcams tracking eruption activity at sites including Augustine, Redoubt, and the Aleutian Islands.
