North Iceland Aurora Sky Cam

Aðaldalshraun, between Húsavík and Akureyri, Iceland

About This Camera

Live 4K sky camera from a remote cabin on the Aðaldalshraun lava field in North Iceland, between Húsavík and Akureyri, run by Geimfarinn. North Iceland lies close under the auroral oval and is often drier than the south-west, so it is a good one to check when Reykjavík is clouded in.

Heading to Aðaldalshraun, between Húsavík and Akureyri, Iceland? See the weather, the light and how busy it is for yourself before you go — this is the view right now, not a photo from a brochure.
